Implants
Dental implants are a realistic, strong and permanent way of replacing missing teeth. They can be used to replace a single tooth or a number of teeth and can also be used as a much more comfortable and convenient method of keeping dentures in place and solve the damage to teeth that bridges will cause.
Implants are small devices which are, false tooth roots. They look, feel and function like real teeth and it is often impossible to tell the difference between implants and your natural teeth. Made out of commercially pure titanium metal, they are placed gently into the jaw bone and left in place until they bond with the bone.
This creates a strong and permanent support for replacement teeth, which are specifically shaped and coloured to provide a perfect match to your other teeth. With simple brushing and flossing, implants can last a lifetime.
Implants require special skills and knowledge to fit them and to see you through the process and Barry has had many years’ experience of successfully placing implants and has completed a three year MSc programme in Dental Implantology.
Tooth Whitening
White teeth could be yours with a professional tooth bleaching kit. We will take moulds of your teeth from which a bleaching tray will be made. This is worn overnight for two weeks for much whiter teeth.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers can also be used to give a whiter smile or can straighten irregular teeth. Veneers are like false finger nails specifically bonded to the front teeth and give a beautiful smile following just two visits to your dentist.
Payment
We provide written treatment plans with associated costs for all proposed treatments, which are given to patients after their initial consultation.
We ask all our patients to pay for the treatment they have received on the same day. We accept cash, cheques backed with a guarantee card and most major credit and debit cards. We are also able to provide interest-free credit. Please ask for more details.
