Dental Implants in just one day

Dental implants are the best artificial teeth replacement available: permanent, natural looking, and easy to care for.

In the past, replacing many teeth with dental implants could be a lengthy process, but at the Brighton Dental Implant Centre we're pleased to offer a one day dental implant service. A same day set of replacement teeth.

Sound too good to be true? It's not. Let's take a look at what dental implants are, and why they're so good.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants mimic the form of natural teeth by using a titanium screw in place of the root, and a custom made crown in place of the tooth. The titanium screw is fixed to the jawbone, and the body naturally heals it into place, creating a permanent fixture.

What you're left with is an artificial tooth that looks, feels, and behaves just like your natural teeth.

How long do dental implants last?

Properly cared for, dental implants can last a lifetime. And the good news is that dental implants require no more care than your natural teeth. Just continue to practice good oral hygiene and you won't have any problems.

You are advised to attend regular maintenance sessions, but these should be no different from your regular dental check-ups – or any more frequent.

Who's eligible for dental implants?

Very few people are ineligible for dental implants. Chronic health conditions such as diabetes, or lifestyle factors such as smoking can be limiting factors, but in our experience most people are suitable for dental implants. We will conduct a detailed consultation prior to the procedure to assess your suitability.

What are the alternatives?

Alternatives to dental implants are the more traditional fixed bridge and dentures. Both require a reduction in existing, natural teeth – causing potential future complications – and dentures in particular require far more maintenance. Dental implants are indistinguishable from your natural teeth, in both behaviour and appearance.

If you've got missing teeth, get in touch today and ask about our one day dental implant service.
